Dr Evil Classic in Plett

The Dr Evil Classic is to be held on the weekend of 21 - 23 September.  This mountain bike race starts at Wittedrift (Plett) and over a 3 day period, cyclists make their way to the finish line in Knysna.  More info here.

Plett River Lodge, and Buffalo Hills Game Reserve will be idea/ places for cyclists to spend their 1st and 2nd nights.

The Ultimate Wicked & Wild Halloween Party

Presenting the Ultimate Halloween Party in Plettenberg Bay! This is going to be the biggest all-out Wicked & Wild costume party in the ultimate scary venue that the Garden Route has ever seen!

On the night of the 28th October, the beautiful Cairnbrogie Barn on the Cairnbrogie Farm will be transformed into something out of a horror movie with fantastic sound and crazy lighting and some seriously killer décor!

Party all night to the awesome DJ's lined up including Mad Brad and the Rock & Roll Psycho Circus before we switch to some House DJ’s later to keep you going all night long!

Enjoy all sorts of Halloween themed drinks, cocktails and shooters and loads of spooky surprises! And don't forget there will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs for the best dressed.

Directions: From Piesang Valley in Plettenberg Bay, take Robberg Road out towards the Airport. Go past the airport and continue along until the road changes to a gravel road and the venue will be a bit further along on your left hand side.

Buffalo Hills on track to open 01 September

We recently bought Buffallo Hills and the renovation is getting along nicely. We have our first clients staying with us on 1st September. Buffalo Hills can sleep 20 people and the cost is R2000 for all 20! There are 3 houses and 2 tents. If you wanted to go with a smaller group, the cost would be R200 per adult and R100 per child. There are wild animals and walks.  It is on a self catering basis.  
We are looking forward to welcoming past and future clients to this fantastic new property!

Oakhill matric dance at Plett Game Reserve

The Oakhill school held their matric dance at The Plettenberg Game Reserve on Saturday 27th July. It was a really cold and rainy evening which added to the cosy atmosphere in the shed.  The fires were roaring and the theme of Phantom of The Opera suited the venue perfectly.  The music filled the shed and it looked amazing! The theme colours of red and black on velvet looked decadent and rich.  The teachers battled to get the students to leave on the buses as the music was fabulous and the atmosphere electric. Every one loved the party and it was a night that the Matrics of Oakhill 2012 will treasure forever.
