Honeymooners extend their stay

The Baroness recently had a honeymoon couple from Germany book in for a 1 night stay.
Mr and Mrs Falkenstein loved the Baroness so much that they extended their stay to 3 nights!
They loved room 2 with its romantic fireplace and no televisions in the bedrooms.  (Although, there is one in boma.)
They loved the peacefullness of the reserve and said they got to know each other well and also had time to read loads of books.
The Baroness is such a fabulous place to relax and unwind.

We have two new Boereperd Horses!

Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve has got two new Boereperd horses. These horses are much stronger and hardier than other breeds and they are used to our harsh African conditions.

Robert Kombi has been spending time with the two new horses and taking them out one by one to get used to the game. They love the bush and have settled in very well.

Their names are Bless and Victor.
This will take the number of guests on a horse safari up to ten and eleven.
Horse safaris are very popular with guests as they are ableto see the game really close up.

This is a pic of of Robert with Bless.

Stories from Plett Game Game Reserve

At Plettenberg Game Reserve, we are gearing up for a busy season.
Our new family room

We are very near completion of our family room.  It is a stunning 2 bedroomed cottage in the forest in front of The Baroness Lodge.

Game viewing as always is excellent at Plettenberg bay Game Reserve.  The ostriches are sitting on eggs and we expect them to hatch in about 3 weeks time.  We can't wait to see the little pincushions running around.

Visit us soon and experience it all first hand.
